With more than 25 years of advertising experience, Brian took the helm as President of Marketing at IMI in April 2007. Most recently he served as CEO of Dailey & Associates in Los Angeles, where he was responsible for all day-to-day operations, including overseeing 250 employees and billings of close to $500 million. At IMI, Brian will oversee all operations related to IMI Marketing, bringing a fresh perspective to the company’s continuing focus on innovative ideas designed to drive sales and build brands. “I couldn’t be more excited to join IMI,” Brian says. “Marketing and advertising have played such an important role in the company’s success to date—and that’s only going to increase with our plans for growth in the future.”
While at Dailey & Associates, Brian garnered his share of accolades. The Western States Advertising Agencies Association named him the advertising industry’s 1996 Leader of the Year, which is awarded to someone who has displayed unparalleled leadership qualities. In 2002, Brian was given the American Advertising Federation’s Silver Medal Award, which recognizes persons who have furthered the industry’s standards, creative excellence and responsibility in the area of social concern.
As for his new responsibilities at IMI, Brian is excited about the task at hand. “My direct experience,” he says, “at an ad agency that quadrupled in size during my tenure there prepares me for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead at IMI. It’s going to be a wild, fun ride.” |
