    Thompson claims Oregon Classic on second playoff hole
    JUNCTION CITY, Ore. -- Kyle Thompson made a 60-foot eagle putt on the final hole of regulation to finish the tournament at 17 under par and force a playoff with Matthew Jones and Jon Turcott at the Oregon Classic presented by Kendall Auto Group. Thompson, who shot back-to-back 67s on the weekend, then made birdie on the second playoff hole for his second win of the 2007 season.

    TRUCKEE, CA—Amid perfect weather, delicious food, excellent company and exciting entertainment, Martis Camp kicked off a successful Phase II Grand Opening. After selling 117 homesites during Phase I, Martis Camp, located in North Lake Tahoe, sold an additional 40 homesites at the Phase II Launch on Saturday, August 25, with a volume of over $34 million.     Bolli comes from behind to win Northeast Pennsylvania Classic
    Bolli was tied for the lead until Martin Laird birdied the final hole at the Athens Regional Foundation Classic to win by one stroke. At the Ft. Smith Classic, Bolli held a three-stroke lead after three rounds, but bogeyed the final hole to miss out a playoff by one stroke as well. Bolli's fortunes changed as he birdied the 16th and 18th holes on Sunday to win the Northeast Pennsylvania Classic by one stroke over Richard Johnson and Patrick Sheehan.

    2007 BMW Charity Pro-Am at The Cliffs Golf Tournament Breaks Own Record for Charitable Giving
    South Carolina Charities, Inc. (SCCI) announced today that the charitable earnings raised at this year's event will exceed $2 million. That total eclipses all past years and represents a three- fold increase in the average annual charitable proceeds of $616,000 since the tournament began in 2001. The sum is the highest ever attained on the Nationwide Tour. Tournament officials will announce the total amount raised, as well as present checks to the charities, at the annual Charity Recognition Luncheon presented by Michelin held later this summer.

    Hundreds of guests joined golf legend Jack Nicklaus Saturday as he played the inaugural round on his design at The Cliffs at Keowee Falls. Mr. Nicklaus entertained the attendees with a clinic and stories from his career before teeing off and walking the course with the crowd.     Thompson edges Morland in OT to claim New Zealand PGA
    CHRISTCHURCH, New Zealand -- Nicholas Thompson tapped in a short par putt on the first hole of a playoff Sunday to beat David Morland IV and win the HSBC New Zealand PGA Championship at Clearwater Resort. The two players shot identical weekend rounds of 70-68 and wound up tied at 8-under 280 to get into the playoff in the event co-sanctioned by the Nationwide Tour and the Australasian PGA Tour.
