An excited group of invited guests was on hand in Anguilla the first weekend in April to greet the golfing legend Jack Nicklaus. Nicklaus arrived on the morning of Saturday, April 5th to kick-off the official Groundbreaking for his Signature Course at Fairmont Anguilla. Just four weeks away from the much-anticipated initial release of property, this luxury island resort community will also be home to an exclusive Jack Nicklaus Golf Club - one of only 25 in the world.
Nicklaus was greeted by roughly 100 guests that included local dignitaries and future homeowners at Fairmont Anguilla. After a brief lunch at Straw Hat restaurant, Nicklaus spent time discussing the routing for his course that will unfold naturally along a magnificent stretch of shoreline, affording spectacular views of St. Maarten.
